Baby Devil

What can I destroy next? Dylan is a walking machine now and into everything. Overnight this child changed. She went from crawling and playing with HER toys to destroying everything in her path! Gotta love that!

Halloween...Barbie vs. KitKat

Between wigs and candy, Dylan had a great Halloween. I can't wait until next year when she can really go out and get some candy!

THE BIRTHDAY

Well, she's 1! It was a fabulous day, and we are so thrilled that everyone showed up bc the weather was terrible! Dylan was so happy to have her friends around, and wanted to do it all over again the next day. We are so busy growing...learning to walk and talk. I am so glad this year is over....on to the next!

Labor Day

Well, Dylan finally got out on her Grandfather's boat for Labor Day. She did really well, and her lifejacket was hilarious. She ate blue popscicles and fun times with Daddy and mommy! I can't wait until next summer! A few of her Aunties stopped by too!

Boston, MA 2009

Just enjoying a Red Sox game with the boys, and Dylan enjoying her Nana and Papa's house with her Red Sox sweater on! oh, and don't forget pooltime!

The Christening at The Old North Church

On August 9th, 2009, Dylan Paige was Baptized in one of the oldest churches, and most recognized for Paul Revere's hanging of the lanterns to tell the Patriots that the "...British are coming",... It was a beautiful service followed by lunch, and the marching of the saint Madonna Della Cava. (the festival of the weekend in August)....

summer vacation

Dylan's first real trip was to New Mexico to visit her cousins, Aunt, and crazy Uncles. It was a long 10 hour car ride, and she did better than I did.
She got to swim, play, and even visit Gigi's on the way through town. She loved her green astro-turf stairs...just her size.
We had many laughs and I know it is a trip we will tell her about once she can understand it all...soon, very soon.
Hanging out with Olivia and Sophia on their Karaoke machine.

Those awesome green stairs at Gigi's house...she even took 2 steps at Gigi's one night after her bath. Such a little lady!

9 month well visit

All checked out today at the Doctor's office, and Dylan was her normal funny self. Flirting with everyone and making everyone laugh comes quite easily to this 14 pound child. No shots today, but her her iron levels all looked great. She is still toothless, but the Doctor was quite happy to hear that she was enjoying hotdogs at home. He thinks she will be walking soon, so watch out! Before we left she kissed herself goodbye and took a little nibble out of the exam paper...just a snack to go!

I miss my Nana!

Well, another crazy family outing! Dylan got to meet her two cousins, Sophia and Olivia, for the first time! They loved eachother, and we were very sad to see them all go, but I still think Dylan is having separation anxiety from her Nana. We started loving the pool while they were here, too! Check out that lil bikini!

Big GIrl!

Well, it's official...Dylan is a real mover and shaker. She is crawling on all 4's, pulling up to her knees, and pulling up to her feet. Yesterday she even took a few sidesteps while holding on to the couch. I can't believe it! Her acid reflux also came back but seems to have subsided in the past week. Maybe because of the medicine or the new formula, but we aren't complaining. She is happy, healthy, and moving around like crazy. It actually makes me appreciate the apartment! HA!

Milestones

Well, I have not kept up in a while, so let me fill you in on little Dylan's milestones.  She is definitely getting more secure in sitting up.  She can sit for a few minutes and looking off the balcony is her favorite.  She often yells at the cars as they go by...like a barking dog! Ha!
Most recently, Dylan is really pulling up on all 4's.  She just needs to master that  motor pattern of crawling, and she will be off!  Thank goodness we don't have a big house, so she can't go very far, and no need for baby gates!  Makes our job easier as parents.  Anyhow, all is well here, and we are really enjoying watching her grow and change.  We just love her to death!

Meepies Gets Her Ears Pierced

Well, today Dylan was a brave little girl! She got her ears pierced.  I have never seen her so upset and angry at me!  For a moment I thought that I had done something terrible...finally, she calmed down and we came home and shared some chocolate pudding.  She seems to be doing fine now and even let me turn them without a whimper or cry.  Just another hurdle to get over, and now we just pray that she sleeps well tonight.  Rose gold balls in little princess's ears!
