1st Day of School! All Grown Up

Well, she is growing up so fast! On March 5th Bradley and I dropped Dylan off to her first day of school at Prestonwood, CLC. She was not real sad to see us leave, and I did pretty well. I was just hoping that she wouldn't notice me M.I.A. The nurse called me in the middle of the day to tell me that she was doing great and was busy talking to her. When I picked her up her teachers said that she did really well and enjoyed playing with the other two little girls; however, when they tried to put them down for nap Dylan decided it was time to socialize with her new friends. She started talking and when she realized that she was being ignored she started letting out her high pitch happy squeels! The teachers said that they may need to move Dylan's swing away from the others....like down the hall and around the corner...Ha! Just kidding, but she gets it honestly. The only time I was separated from my preschool class was nap time, and I am pretty sure I just spoke to myself if no one else wanted to listen! That's my girl!

Pretty In Dresses

Her daddy thought that she needed a new spring dress, so he bought her this loveley blue and pink checked ensamble. As you can see, she loves it...ok, maybe she is loving Sesame Street.

Busting Out!

In the past month Dylan has really become strong and squirmy! She wants to crawl so badly when she is on her stomach, but still doesn't quite have the trunk strength. We also HAVE TO lock her into everything now....she could push out of her swing if she wanted, and tries on a daily basis to squirm out of her jungle chair. I'm not quite sure where she would go once she's out...I don't think she has thought the whole plan through, or maybe she has. Maybe she would go to Nordstrom's across the street for new shoes....now that I think about it, she has a good plan!
